Weekend Update - lots of firsts!

We had a busy weekend. Since B is now more than a month old, we've started venturing out into the big, bad, germy world. Friday we had an errand to run so Jeff and I took him to REI for his first shopping trip. He did pretty good which was nice. Next up was his one month well check at the doctor. He checked out just fine, although his weight was still a little low. Nothing alarming, just something we will keep an eye on. Here's a couple of pics from the doctor's office.

Saturday we went to Nana's for Ethan's 11th bday party. This was B's first time to Nana's house and he had a good time snuggling with everyone, including his Nana.

Sunday morning we met friends and their kids for brunch out so Bennett got to go to a restaurant for the first time. He met a new friend, Sam, who is about 3 months older than him.

Just another cute shot:
"SOOO BIG!!"

Day 25 - First Family Excursion

Jeff went back to work this week. I had a lot of help from family and friends, but by Saturday morning Bennett and I were tired of staring at each other so I suggested we join Jeff on his weekend morning routine with the dogs.
This was our first time loading the dogs, the baby and the BOB stroller in the Yukon.  It all fit.  Barely. After everyone was loaded in, we drove up to one of the dogs' favorite places, Seward Park, and hit the trails.

I see more of this in our future for sure.
